Shelly Waymire

Ms. Shelly Waymire is an educator passionate about working with middle school students, teaching both English Language Arts (ELA), Social Studies, and the homeroom teacher for 6th grade. Ms. Waymire has been at Hood View for 4 years and has 24 years of educational experience.
Ms. Waymire is highly qualified with a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Special Education.
She emphasizes the importance of connection in her classroom, stating that her favorite part of teaching is "building relationships with my students."
