Isaac Tyman
Principal
Mr. Isaac Tyman is the Principal of Hood View Adventist School (HVAS). He is currently in his first year at HVAS and brings 13 years of experience in education and administration.
Before stepping into the role of Principal, Mr. Tyman spent 12 years working as an Athletic Director and Physical Educator. His educational background reflects his dedication to both health and leadership:
Southern Adventist University:
Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health (with a minor in History)
Azusa Pacific University:
Master of Science in Physical Education and Athletic Administration
Mr. Tyman's greatest motivation comes from mentoring students and fostering their spiritual development: "The most rewarding part of my work is watching students grow into leaders, fulfilling their potential while building a strong connection with God."
His ultimate goal as an educator and administrator is for "students to have a relationship with Jesus as they go into this world."
Mr. Tyman is joined in the Northwest by his family:
Family: He is married to his beautiful wife, Anjali, and they are both excited to be living in the Northwest after moving from the East Coast.
Hobbies & Travel: Mr. Tyman loves music and has a passion for seeing the world, having traveled to 30 countries.
Sports: He is a huge, though "unfortunate," Minnesota sports fan!
